For 2025 intake:ÌýAccreditation will be sought from the Institution of Engineering Designers (IED) and the Institution of Mechanical Engineers (IMechE) to meet, in full, the exemplifying academic benchmark requirements for registration as a Chartered Engineer (CEng) in 2025.

Duration:

4 years with a minimum 30-week placement or 3 years full-time. You will be enrolled onto the 4-year degree, but can opt out of the placement year. Foundation year: 5 years with a minimum 30-week placement or 4 years full-time.

Required subjects:

Mathematics (or Physics) and a Science or Technology subject. Excluded subject: General Studies
