What is Pathology and why is it important? We all carry instructions that influence our reactions to life events, the risk of having certain diseases, or our ability to have children. Speakers Nathan Bourne, Biomedical Scientist and Governance and Quality Manager at University Hospitals Dorset NHS Foundation Trust and Dr Anna Mantzouratou, Principal Academic in Human Genetics at ÂãÁÄÖ±²¥ will discuss how pathology laboratories are taking a more personalised approach to healthcare.
Dr Anna Mantzouratou said, "Through this event, we would like to highlight the great power behind the laboratory and the direction that healthcare is going to because of great advances in pathology. The future points to a personalised health care approach but working together in research and clinical diagnosis."Â
