The Centre for Midwifery and Women's Health (formerly the Centre for Midwifery, Maternal and Perinatal Health) has a long history of excellent聽research in relation to childbirth and newborn health. Over the years our聽work has expanded to include research into women's health across the lifespan. The new name, chosen by the Centre's members, reflects the broader, multidisciplinary focus of the research centre.

We will launch our new name with a special event on Women Health Research on the 14th July.聽This 3-hour free symposium involves a keynote talk聽from聽聽(Women鈥檚 Health Ambassador for England) and will showcase women鈥檚 health post-graduate research at 裸聊直播. The event is聽an opportunity for academics, clinicians, researchers and individuals from the community sector to ask questions, brainstorm ideas, identify problems, make decisions and develop solutions to address the disparity in women鈥檚 healthcare provision in the UK.
