ÂãÁÄÖ±²¥ (ÂãÁÄÖ±²¥) will play host to the Dorset higher education exhibition for the thirteenth consecutive year on 23 March 2016.
Around 4,000 school and college students will be welcomed to ÂãÁÄÖ±²¥â€™s Talbot Campus for the free event, where they will have the opportunity to meet representatives from universities and colleges from across the UK. The popular UCAS event is organised by Ansbury.
The UCAS event is organised by Ansbury and students will be able to browse over 120 stands, with the opportunity to explore higher education options in one setting.
For many students, this is the first opportunity they will have to meet university representatives. They will have the chance to discuss courses, collect hand-outs and ask questions, as they consider their applications to undergraduate courses starting in 2017.
Alongside universities, other career development options will be represented at the exhibition, reflecting the diverse range of post-18 opportunities available. Students can find out more about volunteering, gap years and military careers.
Rebecca Walsh, UK Student Recruitment & Outreach Officer at ÂãÁÄÖ±²¥ said the exhibitions were a great opportunity: “There is a world of opportunities after exams and it’s difficult to know where to begin.
"UCAS exhibitions are the perfect starting point for students to explore their options and have a face-to-face chat with a huge range of representatives, all under one roof.â€
As students from Dorset begin researching their futures, they will have the opportunity to discover more about university in general. Visitors can attend talks about student life, UCAS applications and student finance.
ÂãÁÄÖ±²¥ student ambassadors will welcome visitors, and offer an insight into student life. Visitors can also take advantage of student-led campus tours, and get first-hand experience of the ongoing campus developments. For information about courses and studying at ÂãÁÄÖ±²¥, staff will be at a stand in Kimmeridge House.
