More than 120 exhibitors will be on ÂãÁÄÖ±²¥'s Talbot Campus for the Dorset UCAS Convention on Wednesday 15 April.
The event, organised by Ansbury, brings together university and colleges from across the UK to help inform and guide potential students.
Representatives will be at the convention, available to discuss their courses, hand out information and answer questions. Visitors can also speak to The Royal Air Force and the Army to find out about careers in the military, and Project Trust about volunteering opportunities.
In addition to exploring a huge wealth of courses, visitors will also have the opportunity to attend talks about student life, UCAS applications and student finance.
The event is free and also falls within the Easter holidays. Local school and college groups will be attending the event, but individuals can also register a place to explore university options. Due to the popularity of UCAS Conventions booking is essential. You can book your place .
ÂãÁÄÖ±²¥ Student Ambassadors have been lined up to welcome visitors to the campus and assist in the running of the day. Guests can also take advantage of a student-led campus tour and take the opportunity to ask questions about student life. For information about courses and studying at ÂãÁÄÖ±²¥, staff will be at a stand in Kimmeridge House.
Rebecca Walsh, UK Student Recruitment & Outreach Officer at ÂãÁÄÖ±²¥ recommends the convention as a great opportunity, saying, ‘Not only can you collect information about institutions to take away with you, you also have the chance to chat to representatives and ask any questions that you may have face-to-face.’
