Sustainability, green economy and the environment were high on the agenda during the Wessex Conservation Forum, hosted by 裸聊直播 (裸聊直播).
The day, organised by 裸聊直播 project manager Ben Thornes, saw a full house of representatives come together to debate and discuss environmental issues across Wessex and how we can play a part in protecting the environment together.
Those involved on the day included the Freshwater Biological Association, Dorset Local Nature Partnership and a number of local universities, all looking at聽biodiversity, ecosystem services & the green economy across Wessex.
Ben Thornes said, 鈥淚鈥檓 extremely pleased with how the event went; we had great attendance from a diverse range of delegates, which proved this event was worthwhile. We were also fortunate to secure fantastic, passionate speakers who kept the audience engaged throughout the day.聽
鈥淭o me, the biggest outcome of the day was realising the wealth of expertise that we have right on our doorstep and the positive attitudes prevalent among the delegates towards working together on future collaborative projects across the region.鈥�
The event has proved to be popular over the last few years 鈥� with the agenda reflecting important issues to the environment of Wessex 鈥� and plans are already underway for a similar event next year.
Ben Thornes concluded, 鈥淲e want to make the Wessex Conservation Forum a regular occurrence, so we鈥檙e currently asking everyone who came for feedback in order to improve this event for the future.鈥�
