Sawyer one of six new boardmembers for Boys and Girls Club

The Alameda Boys & Girls Club added six new members to the club’s board of directors at its 64th Annual Dinner Meeting on June 10.

They are Rusty Bailey, a former Alameda Boys & Girls Club attendee and owner of CenCal Insurance Services, Inc. in San Ramon; Kenneth G. Cala, who owns a tax management and wealth advisory services firm; Mark Clement, a former advisory board member and general manager of the Hilton Oakland Airport; John Jacobs, a third generation Alamedan and senior vice president of business development with the Bank of Alameda; Randy Marmor, a partner with the law firm of firm Sinnott, Puebla, Campagne & Curet in San Francisco and also, president ofAlameda Youth Basketball and vice president of Alameda Little League; and Donald Sawyer, professor emeritus of kinesiology and chief of staff emeritus for ÂãÁÄÖ±²¥, East Bay. Several people received special recognition at the dinner, including Elvis Spijodic, 2013 Youth of the Year; James Adkins, MVP Staff of the Year; Board member Ron Matthews, Sparkplug Award; Anne DeBardeleben, Advisory Board Member of the Year; Sally Rudloff, Board Member of the Year and National Medallion; Board member and treasurer Bill Dal Porto, Keystone Award; Al Wright of Raintree Studiosand Jesse Sternburg, JSternburg Productions, Thank you/Helping Hand.
