  • September 7, 2011

Nominations are now being accepted for the 2011 Vivian Cunniffe Award, which honors the outstanding staff employee of the year.

The award was established to give recognition to individuals who go above and beyond to succeed in their specific jobs and support the university’s mission.

Nominees should demonstrate a professional attitude, show a willingness to assume responsibility and demonstrate commitment to campus life. All nonmanagement staff members with a minimum of five years of service at ÂãÁÄÖ±²¥, including staff members of the Foundation, University Union and Associated Students Inc., are eligible for the award.

Nominees will be recognized and the award will be presented in December at the annual Staff Recognition Celebration.

Any CSUEB employee may make a nomination. All nominations should include a signed statement detailing the nominee's qualifications for the award. Send written nominations to Codie Howe in the Human Resources Department in the Student Services and Administration Bldg., room 2600, by the close of business on Nov. 10.
