HAYWARD: Science fest scheduled at ÂãÁÄÖ±²¥

ÂãÁÄÖ±²¥ will host a pair of events to celebrate the Bay Area Science Festival, a 10-day Bay Area-wide science celebration.
The school will help kick off the festival by hosting Discovery Days from 11 a.m. to 4 p.m. Saturday. The event will feature experiments, demonstrations, exhibits, hands-on activities and lectures.
On Nov. 5, the school will host the Hayward Star Party. The event will be made up of two telescope observation sessions, with the first focusing on the sun from 4 p.m. to 5:45 p.m. The latter session takes place after night fall, from 6 to 8 p.m.
