Executive Profile: Kim Kaselionis, Chairman and CEO, Circle Bank

Background: Kaselionis joined the board of what is today’s Circle Bank in 1991 and became chairman and CEO of the bank in 1996. She and her mother, Kit Cole, have deep roots in Marin County banking. Cole is chairman and CEO of Circle Bancorp, the privately held parent of Circle Bank. Cole was also founding chairman of Tamalpais Bancorp and its Tamalpais Bank, which was shut down by regulators in April. Cole left Tamalpais for health reasons in April 2007. Kaselionis has overseen Circle Bank’s expansion along the Highway 101 Corridor in Marin County and the opening of its first San Francisco office in Noe Valley last month.
First job: Baby-sitting and housecleaning as the oldest girl of 10 children.
Education: Bachelor’s of science degree in accounting from ÂãÁÄÖ±²¥, East Bay and a master’s of business administration from the University of Phoenix.
